I was registered blind in 2006 and graduated from Birmingham City University in 2010. I worked as a Rehabilitation Specialist since then, initially with Visibility Scotland where I had a strong focus on assistive technology and accessibility leading the technology projects and developing the tech support offered by the charity.
After 12 years, I moved to Guide Dogs where I have been working with the technology team for the last three years supporting and educating staff and service users on technology as well as testing and trialling new and emerging solutions to support people with vision impairment.
