Jaynaide works at the World Obesity Federation only global organisation focused exclusively on obesity, as the Head of Data and Evidence. There she partners with researchers, World Obesity members and other stakeholders to generate, review and promote research and evidence on obesity. World Obesity represents stakeholders in high-, medium- and low-income countries, including experts, advocates, patients and practitioners. It is a lead partner to global agencies on obesity, including the World Health Organization.
With a degree in Biochemistry and a Masters in Public Health, Jaynaide has used her research skills in different settings, including clinical trials and the evaluation of public health programmes. Her key interests include non-communicable diseases, the social and commercial determinants of health, health inequalities and the health of marginalised and disadvantaged groups, and qualitative research.
