Having worked in both the public and private sectors, Jonathon has had a broad range of experience in UK focussed and global roles, primarily within the HR profession, and has worked in Edinburgh, Dublin, London, and Cambridge. Jonathon started his career at RBS on their HR graduate programme. His time there covered numerous specialist and generalist HR roles, and a lot of change from both mergers and acquisition to disposals, with a focus on culture change and engagement. Having joined the Civil Service in 2014 he has worked with a variety of areas from the Legal Aid Agency, to the Ministry of Justice, with responsibilities for the Graduate programme, Recruitment, Learning and Development, HR MI and the wider People Strategy. Jonathon joined the Scottish Government into his current role in October 2018. Jonathon is leading on organisational development and change within the Scottish Government.
