Kirsty Tait

Kirsty Tait is the Director for the Food, Farming, and Countryside Commission in Scotland. Supporting the organisation in its mission to bring people together to act on the climate, nature, and health crises, through fairer and more sustainable food systems, and a just transition for rural communities and the countryside. She has previously held roles with the Nature Friendly Farming Network, The Scottish Land Commission, and Carnegie UK Trust.

As world leaders prepare to gather for COP29, the Holyrood Climate Action summit and Climate Action Awards will return to Edinburgh in October 2024 in a decisive year for the future of Scotland’s climate targets. The summit will ask what steps can be taken to urgently cut emissions in key polluters such as agriculture, the built environment, energy, and transport.
