Matt is the Director of Citrix UK I Public Sector. Matt has more than 20 years’ experience working in high performance sport and business, and will bring his knowledge of how customers have innovated and achieved digital transformation. Matt has worked for Citrix directly for 8.5 years and prior to this, the channel for over 10 years. In that time he has seen that whilst technology is important clearly to innovation the human component is most critical! His team’s mission is simple, ‘to make the UK Public Sector a flagship for innovation, directly improve the lives of citizens and their communities, by re-imagining how we work’. Helping customers to think differently is key to this success and most recently we have seen the role that technology has had in delivering employee productivity when needed most, in this current ‘new normal’ climate.
Matt has gone through his own personal transformation from a degree in ecology & environmental science, rugby career, parent and the IT industry. Matt is passionate about the environment around us and the innovation that he has seen across the public sector.
When Matt is not at work he enjoys spending time with his wife and kids, getting into the great outdoors and all that Scotland has to offer. He is a keen sportsman and enjoys playing the piano.
