With a background in digital transformation and change management across sectors, Max Gattlin joined Primary Care in 2020, initially undertaking three major projects: A 42-site cloud telephony deployment in Hillingdon, a 28-site Online Consultation deployment (AskFirst for BOB ICB), and deploying, managing, and training practice teams on AccuRx’s Accubook for COVID-19 vaccination bookings. Amidst high uncertainty and soaring healthcare demands, Max is well recognised for reviving underutilised technology to ease operational burdens and improve the patient experience.
Now pioneering the use of AI as a tool to help relieve the operational burdens faced by primary care, Max believes that both digital and human efficiencies are needed now more than ever to help practices survive. Whilst he admits that AI is by no means a magic bullet, he is confident that applied correctly, AI has the potential to move primary care forward beyond all expectations.
