Michelle Duffy has been a respiratory nurse in NHS Highland since 1999, based in the community since 2010. She has been active within the Scottish Respiratory Nurse Forum since 2014. She is part of the Scottish Government Cross Party Group on Lung Health. In 2017 she was awarded the new Scottish Queen’s Nurse title, focusing on the value of Pulmonary Rehabilitation as her project. She is a strong advocate of using digital technology to support people with chronic respiratory conditions to access the information which enables them to be in control of their own health.
