Rachel joined IPPR in 2018 as an Economic Analyst working across the Centre for Economic Justice and IPPR Scotland. She specialises in economic and social policy, gender and devolution. Rachel is an experienced quantitative and qualitative researcher, and has worked on social security policy, inclusive growth, and the economic impacts of automation and technological change.
Rachel’s current work is focussed on building greater financial security for families across Scotland, including by rethinking our approach to social security and rewiring Scotland’s economy as we look towards a recovery from Covid-19.
