Rob creates platforms for development and learning which empower communities to create positive and sustainable change. He studied architecture before co-founding Agile City, a community interest company that creates speak for work, events and learning for social and green enterprise.
A key project has been Civic House – a prototype of how to deep retrofit a post-industrial building to become energy positive. This work is underpinned by a practical, hands-on approach – learning through doing, responding to community need, and setting up new enterprises to translate talk into action.
Since joining BE-ST in 2024 his focus will be on building community capacity to accelerate place-based retrofit projects across Scotland.
