Ruth Aylett

I have worked as an academic and researcher in AI and Robotics for more than 35 years, running a series of large EU-funded and UK-funded projects in socially-relevant areas and generating a large number of peer reviewed journal and other articles. My recent work has focused on social robotics and human-robot interaction and the ethical issues involved in AI systems in public domains. I am the joint author of the popular science book ‘Living with Robots – what every anxious human needs to know’ (MIT Press, 2021)
