Sheila Duffy has led the health charity ASH Scotland since becoming Chief Executive in January 2008. Sheila is an honorary member of the Faculty of Public Health, chairs the Scottish Coalition on Tobacco (SCOT) and represents ASH Scotland on the Scottish Government’s Ministerial Working Group on Tobacco Control, the European Smoke-free Partnership and the Global Alliance for Tobacco Control (formerly FCA). ASH Scotland works strategically to tackle the inequalities and harms caused by tobacco with partners including those in the Non-Communicable Diseases (NCD) Prevention Coalition comprising of Scotland’s leading health charities, the Scottish Parliament’s Cross Party Group on Improving Scotland’s Health, and more than 400 organisations signed up to Scotland’s Charter for a Tobacco-free Generation.
