Stephen Beattie is Interim Assistant Director of Information Technology Services at BSO, where he leads teams responsible for delivering and protecting critical digital services across Northern Ireland’s Health and Social Care system. Throughout his career, he has worked at the intersection of technology, cyber resilience and public service delivery, helping organisations prepare for disruption, respond to incidents and recover rapidly while maintaining essential services. Having led major transformation programmes and supported organisations through significant cyber and operational challenges, Stephen brings a practical perspective on what resilience looks like in reality and why it has become a core capability for modern public services.
