Holyrood Connect’s 6th annual Public Sector Cyber Security Northern Ireland event will return Belfast for another year on 26 February 2025.

Holyrood Connect is delighted to announce the return of its flagship annual cyber security conference, Public Sector Cyber Security Scotland 2025.

Holyrood is delighted to play a part in showcasing some of the innovative and thought-provoking work being done over the length and breadth of Scotland.

1 January 2025 will mark the 20th anniversary of the Freedom of Information (Scotland) Act 2002 (FOISA) coming into force. As we approach this landmark date, join Holyrood for its annual flagship FOI event, where we will reflect on the impact that FOI has had over this time. 

Holyrood’s flagship Scottish Politics Explained event is returning, in-person to central Edinburgh, on 29th October 2024, providing delegates with a thorough understanding of how the Scottish Parliament and Scottish Government operate.

Holyrood Climate Action Awards will celebrate the best within Scotland's climate change movement this October.

As world leaders prepare to gather for COP29, the Holyrood Climate Action summit and Climate Action Awards will return to Edinburgh in October 2024 in a decisive year for the future of Scotland’s climate targets. The summit will ask what steps can be taken to urgently cut emissions in key polluters such as agriculture, the built environment, energy, and transport.  

Holyrood Connect’s sixth annual Cloud Conference returns to Dynamic Earth in central Edinburgh on 24 September 2024. The event will act as a premier opportunity for public sector professionals in Scotland to connect in person, learn and exchange ideas.

Holyrood’s inaugural Health Inequalities in Scotland: The State of the Nation summit will bring together Scottland’s leading public health voices from the public, private and third sectors to share innovation, make connections and explore the practical steps that can be taken to inspire change and turn the tide.   

The Holyrood Garden Party and Political Awards is the unmissable fixture in the Scottish political calendar for politicians, their staff, political journalists, the business community, and the public affairs sector, and is a fun opportunity to remind ourselves that cross-party relations aren’t always that cross!

Holyrood will host fringe events at the SNP Annual National Conference 2024. At our 2023 event seven fringe events took place.

To mark this historic moment, for both Holyrood magazine and its namesake institution, we will be publishing a special commemorative issue and celebrating with a drinks reception on 19th June at the Fruitmarket Gallery in Edinburgh. The reception will feature a panel discussion with former first ministers, as well as lively ‘then and now’ conversations between current and past portfolio ministers.
