About the event
Grounded in the Scottish Government’s Public Service Reform Strategy (published in June 2025), this event will bring together senior decision-makers, policymakers, and innovators to shape how services can be delivered more effectively, collaboratively, and sustainably.
Through dynamic discussions, interactive sessions, and cross-sector dialogue, participants will engage directly with the key foundations driving the Government’s reform strategy:
- Leadership and cultural change – building inter-departmental trust and fostering a collaborative, big-picture mindset
- Accountability and Incentives – encouraging leaders to take risks and improve, with effective accountability
- Empowering people, places and communities – putting local people and communities at the heart of decision making
- Ensuring the right delivery landscape – reviewing our public service delivery landscapes, identifying duplication and integrating services
It is well recognised that there are systemic barriers which must be addressed to drive improvement and deliver a positive future for Scotland’s public services. Success will require meaningful engagement and buy-in from across the entire sector – this event will support this process.
This will not be a traditional conference – it’s a collaborative space for ideas, debate, and practical action.
We are working closely with Scottish Government to develop a fresh and inspiring agenda, facilitating an impactful opportunity for attendees to share their experiences, hear fresh ideas, and input into the process of re-imagining public service delivery in Scotland.
