Scotland’s Digital Strategy was published in March 2021, at a time when the Covid-19 pandemic had led to acceleration of digital transformation across all sectors. This discussion will address how the digital landscape has evolved, and how business transformation is driving outcomes in the public sector.

As we continue to move on from legacy systems and overcome the issues associated with them, public sector organisations need to embrace digital transformation and adopt new technologies. Our panellists will discuss how we break down cultural barriers, implement positive change, and take the necessary steps to ensure we live in a digitally-inclusive society where citizens are equipped with the tools to access modern public services.

Our panellists will discuss how we overcome procurement challenges and transform our physical estates and facilities, paving the way for digital transformation.

Hear practical examples of digital transformation, and its positive impact.

Artificial intelligence has been around for a very long time, however many organisations are yet to take the first steps in adopting this technology.

So what are the potential risks, and how do we overcome barriers to adoption?

Our speakers will discuss AI as an enabler for digital transformation, the regulation which surrounds it, and the importance of transparency provided by the Scottish AI register.
