The COVID-19 pandemic has underlined the importance of transparent, accountable public services, but what impact has it had on the FOI system, and has it made us think differently about the framework that is in place.

This two hour webinar, held in partnership with Shelter Scotland, was an opportunity to explore the future of social housing. Including how this sits within the Scottish Government’s Housing to 2040 strategy.

1 year on from the first lockdown this event provided the ideal opportunity to share examples of the work that has already started and consider what more needs to be done.

In partnership with the Open University in Scotland, this event explored what an inclusive economic recovery might look like in reality and how we can utilise the expertise of a wide range of stakeholders. 

In partnership with Aico, this 2-hour webinar focused on how we can deliver the safe and energy efficient homes that we so desperately need.

In the run up to COP26, Holyrood and BP discussed the next steps in our net zero journey; the opportunities we have in relation to offshore wind capabilities; and how we can secure Scotland’s place as a world leader in renewable energy, as we have seen in the oil and gas industry.

This event will be a timely opportunity to consider what further interventions are required to tackle these deep-rooted issues and change behaviours at a population level.
