At the start of the COVID-19 pandemic, the Scottish Government and COSLA made a commitment to work together to deliver a refreshed Digital Strategy for Scotland: A changing nation: how Scotland will thrive in a digital world. This envisages a modern public sector, open to collaboration and transformation.

Our opening keynote will look at Scotland’s strategic direction of travel four years on, and how we can better collaborate and move forward with new ideas and solutions to improve public services.

A person-centered approach is crucial when it comes to digital transformation. Our panellists will discuss:

- How we keep people at the heart of the process when shaping and designing transformation

- How to get the best buy in from key stakeholders (internal and external) using innovative approaches

- How to ensure we have the right skills in place to embrace these changes.

AI is increasingly becoming more accessible to businesses as they advance digitally, offering exciting capabilities and new ways of working. However, it can also be concerning when it comes to things like ethics and replacing jobs.

Our panel will explore how AI and other emerging technologies can help us transform public services, and their potential to strengthen the economy and (in fact) create new jobs and investment in Scotland.

Hear about Innovation and transformational change across health and social care, with emphasis on services for citizens.

Scotland’s public sector is on a journey to advance digital infrastructure. Our speakers will tell you about their experiences and discuss the benefits and opportunities that come with improved connectivity.
