At the start of the COVID-19 pandemic, the Scottish Government and COSLA made a commitment to work together to deliver a refreshed Digital Strategy for Scotland: A changing nation: how Scotland will thrive in a digital world. This envisages a modern public sector, open to collaboration and transformation.

Our opening keynote will look at Scotland’s strategic direction of travel three years on, and how we can better collaborate and move forward with new ideas and solutions to improve public services.

Whether you’ve completed your first step towards cloud migration or are dipping your toes in the water, CirrusHQ will take you through the Do’s and Don’ts of Scottish Public Sector Cloud Migration, highlighting the skills, expertise and funding to make the transition simple.

Many organisations are already benefiting from the collaborative experience of Microsoft Teams, though not all have taken the leap to adopt Microsoft Teams Phone to replace their PBX. With the 2027 'Big Switch Off' on the horizon, now is the perfect time to consolidate communication and collaboration in one platform. In this talk we’ll explore the things you should consider when looking at Teams Phone – from devices, to recording and contact centre options, the different approaches to migrating from a PBX to Teams, and some of the features and benefits you might expect to realise through advanced features.

Public sector organizations are increasingly adopting new technologies to improve operations and better serve citizens. Trends like increased cloud service use and flexible work environments offer significant benefits. However, the key to these changes is transforming cybersecurity to manage risks, protect assets, and ensure secure, effective operations.

AI is increasingly becoming more accessible to businesses as they advance digitally, offering exciting capabilities and new ways of working. However, it can also be concerning when it comes to things like ethics and replacing jobs.

Scotland is to become the first part of the UK to make it mandatory to register any use of AI within the public sector, with the aim to increase transparency.

Our panel will explore how AI and other emerging technologies can help us transform public services, and their potential to strengthen the economy and create new jobs and investment in Scotland.

A person-centered approach is crucial when it comes to digital transformation. Our panellists will discuss:

- How we can reach out to the right people to help shape and design transformation

- How we can get the best buy-in from key stakeholders (internal and external) and encourage more innovative ways of working

- How to ensure we have the right skills in place to embrace these changes
