Holyrood Connect’s annual Public Sector Data Summit will return to Edinburgh on 13 March 2025.

The use of data and AI across the public sector is on the increase. It is crucial that we understand how to maximise their potential to help us make informed decisions and improve public services.

Through a variety of session formats, including keynote addresses, interactive panel discussions and masterclasses, you will hear valuable insights on making the most of your data, how to store it securely, and how to address concerns around AI and ethics.

Public Sector Data Summit 2025 will also feature an exhibition, providing an opportunity for you to explore relevant solutions for your organisation.

The event is free-to-attend for those working in the public or third sectors.

This plenary will explore a vision for public sector data in Scotland.

Our speakers will talk about the long-term horizon for data, how we might better collaborate and make the most of data, and in turn have a positive impact on our people, our economy and the planet.

Imagine a simpler, more secure way for your public sector organisation to work. Google Pixel makes it possible. Explore how its cutting-edge features and seamless integration can boost productivity and enable secure collaboration, no matter where your team is.

Research Data Scotland and Scottish Government data policy team will highlight key developments supporting the secure, effective storage, sharing of, and access to, health and social care data supporting new insights and methods, and better outcomes. Join us to find out more about how we are improving access to data for research purposes through the Researcher Access Service and the renewed Safe Haven Charter.

Public bodies face unprecedented financial pressures. Join Tussell to discover how leveraging public procurement data can help you make more informed, cost-saving commercial decisions, and deliver better value for your residents.

Nearly three-quarters of UK IT leaders are struggling to transform data into significant business value, as revealed by a recent report.

This session will explore how to ensure your organisation has the right skills and processes in place to ensure that data is kept up to date, accurate, and easy to access when required, and how to make the most of it.

As artificial intelligence is becoming more widely used, so are concerns about potential risks to ethics. Find out about how AI can enable your organisation to analyse and visualise data more effectively, and how to address potential risks and biases.
